After my editorial inspiration earlier this week, now it´s time for an #OOTD inspiration! I have always feared the Crispy White outfits because I am super clumsy and I always seem to get stains on my beloved clothes, but this Spring I decided to give it a go with this look! Later on in this blog you will find out how that turned out for me haha, keep reading!
P.s. All these beautiful pictures are taken by my sweet friend and amazing photographer Naelia Salas! Thanks for helping me out :)
As you can see I combined the White Tee & Jeans with a pastel blue coat from Karen Millen, silver sandals from Zara and a nude bag from Martina K to give the outfit an extra twist. The combination of light colors made me feel very fresh and classy while walking down the streets… and I turned quite some heads too! If you feel beautiful that´s what you will radiate, so this is my most important styling tip EVER: Wear the clothes you feel comfortable in! This doesn´t mean you should always stick to the same and that you shouldn´t try new looks. In fact, it implies the opposite: as soon as you start having fun with fashion, it will show in your attitude while wearing your newly discoved outfits as well, so go and get creative! Enjoy!
What I like about my new shirt from Tobi, is that it has fun elements with open cut sleeves and a tullip back: simple yet sophisticated. I spent quite some time checking out their webshop the other day and I just got lost in all of their products, they are so pretty! If you are still looking for some new spring looks, they might be able to help you out. Check out more from Tobi over here: Maxi & Midi Dresses, Crop Tops, Rompers, Skirts & Cardigans
Here is a quick detail shot of my supercute necklace which I got from Passage BCN: a surrealistic ballarina catdoll designed by Servane Gaxotte Paris. The reason why I wanted to share a picture of this necklace is because I love the story behind it. The designer Servane Gaxotte has always worked as a jewerly maker, but never designed her own pieces for a long time. Untill one day she became pregnant and started having the most vivid dreams of her baby girl: with her own house, a lover of animals, dressed up in pretty clothes, and more! The dreams were so vivid that Servane decided to express them in her very own surrealistic jewelry designs. These necklaces became such a huge success that her brand has been growing ever since! Isn´t that a lovely story? :)
So how is this All White look working for me you might wonder? It started with good hopes but I have to be honest with you guys, a couple of hours after the photoshoot I managed to get some mandarin sprinkles on my Karen Millen coat. Some hours later at the La Flower Barcelona party in CDLC I thought it would be fun to sit around real flowers for a picture, which resulted in getting petal stains on my crispy white ass…. GOOD THINKING LYNN hahaha. Will I ever learn? Maybe I will, maybe I won´t, but as long as it lasts I will enjoy this beautiful look, along with the amazing spring weather here in Barcelona!
