Fashion Editorial: Beyond the Walls

December 12, 2016

“Which stories are hiding in those walls?”. I often wonder while standing in front of a beautiful building. Generations come and go, with architecture as their silent observers. There are so many untold stories created behind our walls, some of which create an unexpected impact while others are simply passing by.

The city of Barcelona inspired me to think beyond the walls, to dream about mystery, to wonder about untold stories. Endless dynamic shapes, textures, colors and a touch of mystery is what makes a city magical. Not surprisingly, the same can be said for fashion. Two different art genres, but connected nevertheless.

Merging fashion and architecture creates a completely new story. Soft materials are intertwined with structured shapes. Colors complement each other and seeming contrasts turn out to be the best possible partners. The local designers that made this editorial happen know better than anyone how to embody a story of materials and mysteries.

Take a walk through your city, with new eyes this time . What do you see?

We create our own stories.
