For a while I allowed myself to feel sorry for myself, I really do hate the cold and I was missing Barcelona and my sweet boyfriend. But now it was time to step up my game! What better to fix a winterdip than some glitters? Nothing, if you ask me (okay maybe some hot coco would be nice too). I sent a message to my friend Christel, put on my cutest glitter look, and we went together to Den Bosch for a Girls Day.
Later it turned out that lots of my friends were feeling the same as me, which made me feel better about myself. But hey, that’s what friends are for right? Everyone who I haven’t been able to meet for the past year because I was in Barcelona, was now within 2 hours reach. So I toured through the whole country visiting all of these amazing human beings. Now I feel like my battery is all charged up, I’m ready to be excited about Christmas!
With my favorite Christmas album on repeat (Christmas by Michael Bublé – just in case you wondered) I helped my mom decorate the house and prepare the menu for Christmas. My family doesn’t know it yet – and I hope they won’t read this blogpost until after Christmas – but I decided to have some experimentation fun… I’m going for a vegan dinner menu this year! No, I’m not vegan (yet). I just like to try new things. I really wonder if my family is going to notice if it’s vegan – usually they always make jokes about me because I like to eat super healthy and vegetarian, so now who’s the one laughing muahaha. I’m pretty sure they will love it though: the dessert is a huge chocolate cake with fresh raspberries! Yummmmmmm <3
Anways, that’s enough chatting for today! In short: don’t feel bad if you’re having a winterdip, we’re all victims. And make sure to enjoy your holidays, no matter where and with who you celebrate it :) In case of doubt: add glitter <3
