If you only have two days to spend in Milan, don’t worry – it’s enough time to get a taste of what the city has to offer. My friends and I went on a little citytrip last week and we tried to see as much as we could in two days. Luckily I already knew which areas and places are definitely worth visiting, because I worked there as a model for two months. In this blog I will tell you everything we did and all the places we have visited, so you don’t have to waste hours looking for the right places in the short time you have!
Los Angeles, finally I had the pleasure of meeting you! 2 days before flying my tickets were booked: time for a last-minute adventure before I would start my new job. I didn’t know the city, I didn’t know anyone, it was an amazing experience full of surprises.
Don’t you just love the rush? Packing your bags, getting into the car and just go somewhere random? When Alex visited me during the holidays we wanted to take the most out of our time together (gotta hate long distance relationships), so we took off for 3 days. Off to adventure! P.s. Make sure to read till the end: I saved the best for last <3
London was an amazing experience, I wish to be back soon! From shooting beautiful lingerie, to hanging out with my long lost roommate… London had all the feels <3
Make sure to subscribe to my youtube channel for more of my videos! Do you like them? Make sure to let me know, because I have no idea if I’m doing this right haha. Any tips are more than welcome!
Lots of Love,
Wow! After almost 2 months of touring around Europe, I finally have time to take a breath and look back at everything that I’ve been doing. I have to say… it’s crazier than I realized. To sum everything up I made a small selection of the stuff that I’ve been doing, a compilation so to say. Let’s check it out!
Wait… is it the end of August already? What happened to summer? Am I the only one thinking this? I guess the saying ‘Time Flies when you are having Fun’ couldn’t be more true. Now that I think about it…. what did I actually do this summer? Thank god for Instagram! Let’s check out my latest posts to see what I have been up to this summer.
Who doesn’t love a good old roadtrip? You and your friends, on adventure to find beautiful new places. Since I am not going on vacation this year, I decided to do a couple of roadtrips instead. Spain is a beautiful country, and actually I haven’t seen THAT much of it yet. Sure, I’ve been to all the touristic places and cities, but what about its secret treasures? Time to explore I would say :)
Me and a couple of friends got a car and drove to a very small place in the south of Catalonia called Toll de l’Olla. After we parked the car we walked for around 30 minutes in the woods before we found a hidden waterfall… which looked beautiful!
It took us quite some climbing and jumping over rocks till we made it there, the river is beautiful but so slippery! I even got some blue spots on my feet right now… But hey, if you want a roadtrip adventure, you gotta work for it right?
Sometimes it just feels great to go back to basics and enjoy nature in its purest form. Not only did I see a bit more of the country I live in. I also got over one of my fears: jumping from big heights! #GoMe
Yep, I was definitely proud of myself, hahaha!
Are you on a staycation, or considering a roadtrip? DO IT! It’s actually so simple, but it feels like such an adventure. Search on Instagram or Google for a beautiful place that’s within 2/3 hours driving from your home, gather some friends, and GO! I promise you… it’s worth it :)
Lots of Love,
While I am travelling around for some Fashion Weeks, I thought it would be a suitable moment to share a post with a travel that I did last month. Right before going home for Christmas, me and Alex first went to visit my beautiful friend Carmen in Verona! Sweet as she is she tried us to show as much as possible of the area as possible in the short time we were there. Let’s check some of the pictures we took on our trip!
I have to say I was quite surprised by how decayed the city of Venice was, very surprising since it’s such a touristical city. You would think the government would try to keep it in a good shape to improve the economy… right? It did have a certain charm though… and besides it was very obvious that the waterside was in a much better shape. And beautiful it was indeed!
To get back to the car we had to take a Ferry which immediately gave us a cheap tour over the water while enjoying the sunset. A perfect end to a perfect day :) We went to sleep early because we were exhausted from running around Venice all day long, and of course we needed our energy for the citytrip of the next day: Verona!
Our first stop in Verona was the house of Julliet. Since Romeo & Julliet is my favorite Shakespeare story, I obviously needed to see it! Yes yes, I know it’s a fictional story. But the city of Verona created this landmark in order to honor Shakespeare and his amazing writings, and besides, it’s a great hotspot to get more tourists to the city. Win-Win right? Fun fact: there is a statue of Julliet below her balcony and apparantely it gives goodluck if you touch her boob, as you can see on the picture it completely lost its color from all the people touching the statue! What I loved most about Julliets’ house is the entry hall, with walls covered in love declarations from couples visiting, it almost looks like modern street art!
While strolling about the packed streets of Verona I could totally imagine the love story of Romeo and Julliet happening here. The architecture is beautiful (and in a great shape by the way), the little shops scream romance and the streets still remind of historical times. Nostalgia and beauty surrounds this city, why didn’t I ever think of visiting before? It’s a shame I couldn’t make more pictures but it was starting to get dark and the streets were so busy that it was almost impossible.
Before going home we made a small stop at the top of a mountain to check out the views over Verona… see for yourself: they are breathtaking
Italy is a wonderful country with a rich history, I hope to see more of its treasures later this year! Does anyone have recommendations for me to travel?
Lots of Love,
